Throttle valves have a wide range of applications in industry and are widely used as simple control valves for controlling pipeline fluid flow. They are often used in conjunction with primary instruments and other valves to regulate the system flow rate of pipeline fluids. Its specifications and structural forms are also divided into many types. Let me briefly explain the working principle of the throttle valve.


The internal core components of a throttle valve, namely the valve stem and core combination, form the opening and closing parts of the throttle valve. The core head is mostly conical and streamlined, which can be used to adjust the flow rate and pressure of the pipeline by changing the cross-sectional area of the pipeline. At present, there are many structural forms of opening and closing components, and their structural forms vary depending on their uses.


A throttle valve is a valve that can also control fluid flow by changing the length of the throttle. If the throttle valve and one-way valve are connected in parallel, they can be combined to form a one-way throttle valve; Combining it with a bidirectional valve is called a bidirectional throttle valve; The combination of throttle valve and overflow valve can also form a throttle speed control system. In short, different forms of combinations should be chosen for different occasions.


When a throttle valve is used to control fluid flow, its opening size generally affects the change in liquid flow rate when the pressure difference between the two ends of the throttle valve (before and after the pipeline) is constant. Simply put, the main functions of a throttle valve are to regulate flow, load resistance, and pressure buffering.


When the fluid flows in through the throttle valve, the throttle valve can act as a pressure buffer for the fluid, which will to some extent hinder the operation of the fluid and reduce its impact force. The throttle valve will reduce the pressure of the medium when the pressure drops significantly. Different calibers have different internal structures and purposes. But the basic principle is the same.
